A round of applause please. It is not an earth quake you feel, It is the happy dance from Vancouver. Retreat 2011 is complete! This is the last layout I did. There are so many pictures that I did NOT scrap.

Angelique I am going to do 2012's book a little different. I am going to do it in "Project life Style". I have been doing that with some older pictures and it seems to be going really fast for me. I sort of do a hybrid of Becky's style. I make one 12 x 12 fancy layout then I use individual page protectors for the run of the mill pictures.

I am waiting on the new Simple Stories Snap Urban Traveller stuff.. that is what I am going to use on the 2013 trip.. sort of mini PL thing.... I love minibooks. They work better for me than 12x12 layouts

I started with 12 x 12. I want a uniformed look on my shelves. I have mini albums, but our house is small and display space at a premium. If you jam them on a shelf like a book you wreck the covers. Put them in storage you have to dig to look at them. So I stay with what I started with. Plus I can really stuff a lot of pictures in a 12 inch space. One one layout I ended up with 18 and they were not teeny tiny either, I can see them with my old eyes very well.
